yay finally some original title that, in my opinion, can be connected with the photo yet not fully releases the concept at all. and I didn't steal it from a song. yay!
so, I wanted to make this look a lot like I took it with some film camera. I kept the colors natural and added a liiittle grain in the background (which is barely noticable). I hope I somewhat succeeded.
I also adoore my brother's eyes. I think I wanted to make them the focous point, make them pop out ... but I didn't want another photo where the model faces the camera. I've always been a fan of that pose/expression anyway.

The eyes do pop out for sure!
Your photos make me think of book scenes. Which is a pretty strong compliment considering it comes from a bookworm.
Few photos make me think of the story that could be behind them. Yours manage to do so easily... I think it's because they are intense.

ur brother has really beautiful and piercing eyes! is he really ur brother?! he is so handsome :3 He looks really different and better with his hair cut short. i like the pose as well.
btw...what does the title mean, as in how does it relate? is he looking up at the birds or...?

he is my brother, yes.
well, the series is called "the birds" and therefore, he is looking up to birds, but that is not really the meaning of the picture, as in, the picture is not supposed to only show a boy looking up to the sky, you know?

Wenn man verandt mit dir ist hat man immer tolle Fotos von einem selbst!
Ich finde die Pose und den Geischtsausdruck einfach umwerfend! Hat der Julian echt klasse hinbekommen. Und dann zieht er sich noch so schick an! Ich mag das Outfit, alles passt farblich so gut zusammen und dann diese BΓMMM! Augenfarbe! Hui! Die ziehen den Blick voll an. Und die Frisur steht ihm besser als die lΓ€ngeren Haare.

This is a very stunning image...I really love the shallow DOF cause it blurs the back ground and makes your model pop out in the photo. Your tonal range is spot on and the skin tone is very nice as well. I really like the way he's looking up and how his eyes are so intense which helps give a true feeling to the pose
