I guess the Mayans were wrong...
Sorry for this dark piece of art on these lovely holidays, but I guess now is the time that I found myself able to finish it. Plus we have to keep the balance with all the positive and cheerful greetings on DA!

Smoke was painted with cloud brushes and the man behind the gas mask is me, because I couldn't find the pose that I wanted. (Thanks to my roommate for taking the shot)

Not really if we perfect fusion, clean, bountiful, cheap energy.
Much better than the likes of the energy production of greenpeace and friends of the earth, their methods would actually do more damage in the long run

Btw what's up with the first sentence there? "the Mayans were wrong" ? :-P Wrong about what? Hope you're not serious about that one. The Mayans never said a thing about the end of the world or doomsday if that's what you're refering to..
Funny how everyone think so because every media writes about this one crazy dude's interpretation of their calendar... instead of actually trying to gain some real info about the Mayan culture and their calendar system. Hah..

From the chimneys shown only comes harmless water vapor. You should look after the smaller chimneys.

The ironic thing is that the "smoke" coming out of those giant chimneys is water vapour.

It gives sort of like a "mood" to the viewer, how you did it only in black and white..it makes it look darker.

I think they tried to remove the fuel rods improperly, that's how you end up with an empty city.
