Description
Probably my last deviation before I go for military service (which is obligatory and 9 months long here in Greece). So unless I somehow have free time to draw and an access to a computer, I will see you guys after that. (Assuming of course that no war happens ) Until then... here is an illustration of the Song of Sir Mannelig:

Sir Mannelig, Sir Mannelig won't you marry me
For all that I'll gladly give you?
You may answer only yes or no,
Will you or will you not?

To you I will give twelve great steeds
That graze in a shady grove
Never has a saddle been mounted on their backs
Nor had a bit in their mouths

To you I will give the twelve fine mills
That stand between Tillo and Terno
The mill stones are made of the reddest brass
And the wheels are silver-laden

To you I will give a gilded sword
that jingles from fifteen gold rings
to strike with in battle as you will
and conquer.

To you I will give a brand new shirt
The lustrous best for to wear
It is not sewn by needle and thread
But crocheted of the whitest silk

"Gifts such as these I gladly would receive
If you were a Christian woman
But I know to be the vilest mountain troll,
spawn of the Water Nymphs and the devil"

The mountain troll ran away
she wailed and she shrieked loudly:
"Had I gotten that handsome squire
I would be free from my torment now"
