So at long last, I get to Dumbo!!!
I've been looking forward to this piece since I started the DACC, mainly because elephants have always been my all-time favorite animal, and so when I was really little I adored this movie.
I even own a Dumbo shirt, which I wore while watching this movie for this piece.
Dumbo is probably the cutest thing ever, and also probably has one of the saddest Disney stories.
I'm incredibly happy with how this piece came out. Like, it looks exactly how I envisioned it in my head.
Which never happens.
So that's awesome.
What I learned from this piece : I definitely need to master my pen skills. I had to work on a very small scale for this picture (as compared to most of my other works), so trying to get clean lines that didn't blur together was hard (as you can see with poor Timothy up there). And he was done with a .005 Micron pen, mind you.

This looks pretty cute! And Dumbo was my favorite Disney film next to big hero 6! (And is it just me? Or does the pink elephants on parade sequence felt more like a deleted scene from Fantasia than anything else..)

Dumbo was one of my favorite growing up, mainly because I've always loved elephants 
And the pink elephants on parade definitely feels a tad out of place in the film, but it's gorgeous to look at none the less

Dumbo makes me cry though, 'cause the scene with his mom makes me hella sad. But otherwise, he's a cutie-pootie.
