Description "How many times is Scott Cawthon going to mess with my emotions and make a new fnaf game even tho he said it over twice now." - MatPat 2019

Anyway I'm really in to this game! It's so insane! Btw my favorites is Ballora (for some reason) and Foxy.

If y'all want to see the lineart for this then here's the link: www.deviantart.com/nikyleprodu…

Edit: I forgot to color Baby's microphone, so I fixed it.

Hey there! I came fromΒ ProjectComment !

First off, I think this is a lovely traditional piece!
I can tell you put a lot of time into it just by how it looks. It's fully coloured and all the paper is used.

First off, I want to start off with Freddy.
I feel like his cheeks aren't really rounded out, and there's no point of curvature. This could be easily fixed just by drawing his cheeks out more, and making them circular.
You should also consider making his eyes bigger and more circular, with the lids opened up more.
I should also like to point out, his teeth aren't connected- they're more spread apart in/on his mouth.
You should also try blending his tan belly with the rest of the more darker, brown fur, and not outline it either.

Baby looks fine to me, as far as I'm concerned, but maybe fix her fingers.
Her fingers seem a little too skinny.
Also, maybe have her elbow go off the page, as it seems stiff and kinda unnatural when her elbow is bent like that.

Thirdly, Marionette.
Again, like with Freddy, his/her ( dunno the gender tbh) cheeks need to be present. There's no curvature to show where the cheeks come out to show the smile. Also maybe get rid of the sharp teeth? That's probably just me, but I think he/she would look better without them.
Maybe also make the eyes more slanted, because his/her eyes aren't that round much.
I also cannot tell if he/she has tentacles coming up from behind him/her?? Maybe clarify, because they look to be so.

I can't really say anything on the bunny, since we don't really have a lot to go off of.
All I wanna say about that is, nice job on the eye! I really love that!

Okay, I know this is minor, but the stars on the curtains.Β
They seem really wonky, and rushed. The only two that look okay at best, are the ones on the very right, more towards Baby and the green robotic thing.

LASTLY! Shading and lighting!
I can tell your light source is from directly above. However, this doesn't mean to just leave white where there's meant to be lighting. Instead, colour lightly. Examples are, on Freddy. Instead of leaving white on the hat, you could colour it a dark grey- not black, but a form of grey. Same with his shoulders- colour them a lighter shade of brown!Β  can see this throughout, and I think it would really help if you coloured lighter where light it meant to fall!
As for shading, there's some, but it's not very well executed. Again, using Freddy as an example, he should be REALLY dark, since the light seems to be falling from behind and on top of him, he should be really shaded in. There also seems to be no shadow on the Marionette's mask, but yet there's shading on Baby? Also, when you shade, don't use tones of grey. Use blues, purples, and all sorts of colours ( it really depends on what the base colour is- like if it's yellow, use orange or red). Same goes for lighting!

Anyway, I really hope this helped you!
I can tell so much effort was put into this piece. I really admire it.
I really hope you improve and keep working hard with your art!!

Thank you so much for the very detailed critique! I only have the 24 pack of prismacolors and it only has like 2 different color variations. So it makes things soooo hard. (Marionette is a female btw lol) And the tentacles are supposed to look behind her. And maybe in like a year or two, I might redraw this.

Ah yes, having a limited supply of material can make art kinda feel limiting.
But you're very welcome! I hope to see you improve!

Should just work at a warehouse instead, you're less likely to die
