God, I wouldn't even know where to start...masks are usually symbolic to hide things, but from what I know nur just hides a lot about his past or true emotion, so in this case this mask kind of exposes more truth than hides it? The truth of a broken man.
Also the fact that the mask is split right in half is super telling too.
