Terribly late last page of my entry for the "Bravey" Event. As I said earlier, it's hardly talking about being brave. Quite the reverse actually

Rosebuddy (c) : the BFFL strikes again and saves the day ! (and Paper Hammer too I guess)

What a SPECTACULAR entry!! Holy crap, you handled everyone's fears and them "getting over them" and working courageously really really well, and in a concise and clever way! I LOVE what you did with Ian -- the blue flowers in the darkness really make the panel stand out. I love his profile in the seventh panel, too...
I really like the way you tackled Hamilcar's fear, too. He managed to get over it, yeah, but he wasn't the one to save the day; he wasn't the one to "win", as it were, but he still "succeeded". I wonder if he thinks of it that way, though? I love exploring characters in this manner.
I really like the panel with Phobos in it, too. His expression conveys a wide variety of expressions in a single shot -- he looks somewhat dismayed, somewhat shocked, and somewhat sad; he cannot lose, but he doesn't seem like the type to enjoy the pain he causes, and in fact is probably hurting a little from the suffering he's caused... perhaps he's even a bit relieved that it's over. All in one panel! God, I love your art.
And I really laughed when the doctor said "is your worst fear a cactus?" hahaha!! I love the way you balance humour and serious drama, you're a master of tonal shifts, and deliver them in an appropriate and mood-enhancing manner.

Wow, ahah, I don't know what to say! I'm really really happy you liked it and took the time to detail your reading. And well, coming from you, it means a lot to me! ;v;
I think Hamilcar feels terribly ashamed for basically everything he did that night : losing his temper, punching a fellow Hero and witnessing "his" weakness, and failing at helping his friend -that's a bit too much for him. So yeah, for him this mission was a failure, and even a disgrace. But I tried to finish the entry with a lighter mood, showing his recovering and attempting to sort things out (which is something he wouldn't have done before!)
And, do you plan to finish your own entry someday ? ;7; the first pages were so thrilling !!

I was unable to finish my entry because I disliked the pacing, dialogue, and overall idea I had for it ): I also got swamped in work (and now it's finals agughasjthk) and other things and I decided to step this one out. I need to learn how to pace myself and keep everything an equal level of quality, lol
