Description
Update 20th of April 2021When used just keep my name on it somewhere. If used on other sites or apps add that it's from dA so others can easily find it. No need to tell me that you've used it, I don't log onto dA very often these days and Eclipse doesn't really help with getting a good overview of what has happened since last time.
update 11th October 2013
No need to leave a comment that you've used it any longer. Thanks to the "mentions" all you need to do is adding my name (either with @ or :dev: ) or the thumb for this picture and I'll get a message that you've mentioned me/my artwork.
update 24th January
This is now a .zip with two .psd files. The one that is named only "stablecolortemplate" is the same as before but in "stablecolortemplateNoAnchor" the layers with colours are not linked to the base layer and thus I hope people who use programs that can open .psd but isn't working the same way can use this template. If it still doesn't work I suggest you go to the IKEA version (assemble the pictures yourself onto one canvas) of this template .
update 13th January
- Changed the title slightly.
- Noticed I had forgotten a small metal part on the halter so I changed that.
Added:
- Bellboots,
- Bandages,
- Shiping boots,
- Splint boots,
- Lead rope.
I have absolutely no idea if any of those names are right. Tried to look at sites in English that sells horse equipment but it only made me even more confused
---------------------
Wanting a template for my stable colors I looked around and the only one I could find was Baringa-of-the-Wind 's template and that one was more aimed at stables that are into racing. Which my stable is not.
So I made this!
Hit download and you'll get a PSD you may use to show your stable colors.
Want to use this but think something is missing? Comment here or note me and I'll make an update with the new item(s).

Is it alright if I use this on Howrse.com? I would use it for myself, and possibly sell it. I would leave the signature on it, and obey your rules. Credit would always be on there.
If I sold it, it would be for fake money on the game, and the fake money is earned by selling, competing, breeding the horses etc.

May I use this on Howrse to use and possibly sell? I will credit you and leave your signature (if there is one) on it, and obey the other rules you listed. The money I would earn if I did sell it would be fake, and not purchased with real money.

You may use it as long as you give me credit, if there is no signature you have to ad text that states I made it.

You open it in a program like Photoshop or Gimp and there you'll have separate layers for colours and lineart. If you don't have a program that can open .psd files I've also made one with the lineart as a .png that you can open in Paint: [link]

May I use these for and RPG stable on Howrse, and, quite possibly, an RPG site of mine?

May I use these for an RPG on Howrse.com and, quite possibly, a personal RPG website I may be creating?

You can use it on howrse (as long as you credit me) but that rpg site I want to see before I give you my approval.

Alright. I still have someone working on the CSS code to edit the site and I still don't know if I will like the design so I don't know when it'll be up but I'll send you a message when I find out. Thank you!

How far have you gotten on your own? Have you been able to open it in Photoshop/GIMP/other program?

horsejump In reply to Nileiris [2011-09-25 14:40:18 +0000 UTC]
I've have been able to open it in Gimp (it opens in one layer, is this normal?).
But when i want to recolor it, the edges stay in the original color. :/

Nileiris In reply to horsejump [2011-09-25 14:55:30 +0000 UTC]
It's not supposed to open in just one layer.
Try this version instead: [link]

When i first wanted to save it, it was a zip file, so i couldn't open it in gimp.
So then i trieded to get it in an xcf (gimp) file, but then it opened again in one layer?
Ahgr, i feel so stupid now. >
(and I'm sorry that my english isn't as well as it should ;$)

Have you tried to opened the zip file and copy the files in it to your desctop (or somewhere else) and then open them in GIMP?

I'm glad you like it.
Did you know that the newest version of GIMP can (most of the time) open files in .psd?

Shayla-Estate In reply to Nileiris [2011-09-02 20:28:12 +0000 UTC]
I'm not sure what version I have, at the moment. I tried to open the other version, and it wouldn't for whatever reason. But I really liked how the "Ikea" version was set up with the three different layers. Very quick and easy to use.

I'd love to use this, but I'm a traditional artist and can't use it unless it's a lineart type thing... XD Could you do a Western tack one????? XD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Nileiris In reply to blaine-rr [2011-08-15 19:23:26 +0000 UTC]
You don't happen to have Photoshop or GIMP? Because the lineart is in the .psd. But if you don't I can upload the lineart separately!

blaine-rr In reply to Nileiris [2011-08-15 19:27:14 +0000 UTC]
I don't have either, being a Traditional artist and all, and you don't have to go through that trouble just for me, especially since I use Western tack more! XD

There might come a western styled one later this year, depends on inspiration and what else I have to do before that.
