Very nice piece! I'm not really familiar with the games at all, but I like Link from pictures.
It looks like he has just broken off playing, and is hearing something coming in on the wind, or sees something off in the distance. Nice capture of a moment for the character doing a realistic activity, not just a fighting or epic pose.
His fingers look a little long and like they are coming out of a hand too small for them.
I like the watercolor look - it doesn't look digital, which I think is good. The blowing leaves give a nice atmospheric effect, and the simple background lets the focus be on him and the leaves.
Is he supposed to look upset? He looks concerned, or even angry.
