I'd first like to state that I did NOT create the original logo and hold no credit for it's design and texture work.This is basically just to showcase an idea.
Step 1: Flip Trasformers Autobot symbol.
Step 2: Re-colour specific segments of it.
Step 3: ????
Step 4: Destroy that pesky blue hedgehog.

I could go either way with the name, but Robotnik just... fits.
I mean... fans could just go on and on about it. "But he was called that in the japanzy games!"
"But he was called Robotnik in the amercineezy games!"
"But he had eggman ALL OVER his ship in sonic 2!"
"And he refers to himself as Robotnik in Adventure!"
What a fun fanbase this is... I say just call him Robotnik. Make Eggman an insult. Done.

Although, transformers are robots. . . Robotnik makes robots. . . did he make the Autobots? But that seems out of character!

And strangely enough, Sealeo looks exactly like Dr. Robotnik, who looks like an inverted Autobot, which looks like a water Pokemon...

Yeah, I looked a bit at the D logo, and it somewhat looks like a cat if you hold it upside down xD with muskers, ears and a mouth =3
