Amazing work. Reminds me of H. R. Giger for some reasons

I've only read the Necronomicon.
But I heard he intentionally made up unpronounceable words with the idea that only the gods should be able to say them.

All about the blowjob - empire, isn´t it? Dat tube coming out of it´s chest, seem´s so unnecessary. But it tell´s tha big, big story of a secret that is known everywhere. Totally works for me

I'm not sure what to make of your comment or this music
Sparks seems a combo of a few genres, they remind me of another band but I don't think I'll ever remember its name.

Klaus Nomi?
You know I saw Those Sparks recently on tv, a whole concert of this year at the gay - center in Berlin (Sparks a flaggship of the gay community?)
Really have to love this! www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNuUL5… they´re kind of sympathetic. Great lyrics and suitable sound
I don´t know, do I have to rebirth anybody

Thanks, that red thing seems to be more enigmatic than I thought.
Among other things, at one point I imagined it might be some sort of planetoid.

I actually thought of that, it's got the right color, I was tempted to put a stem on it.
But, I figured a ball made more sense with the pose.

It does look a bit like charcoal, good :]
It looks like her some, must have been in my subconscious.
I got bored with the "W" so I went back to my old signature.

You changed your style a bit on this, brush strokes etc.
Why do I think this will come to me in my next nightmare?
Very cool!!

I'm still zeroing in on my style. This is a bit like my old traditional styles mixed with what I've learned digitally.
Do you make your own brushes?

JPMNeg In reply to nilwilnil [2018-02-13 13:46:56 +0000 UTC]
A lot of people worry about having a style, I think it is better not having one. Even though we all do.
Yes I make my own brushes, really all I use are basic round ones and some of my own for textures.
Do you make your own?

nilwilnil In reply to JPMNeg [2018-02-13 23:17:46 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, this was done almost completely with a square brush I just made. In fact, the main reason I started this painting was to experiment with it. I rarely use the basic rounds anymore except big soft ones for shading or erasing.
I had dozens of custom brushes (and a few I downloaded but never used), but my computer shit the bed last week and I lost them all.
It was sort of a blessing in disguise to simplify things. Though luckily I had some of the brush forms saved as jpegs, just have to reset them now.

Sometimes been painting a just create brushes and test them.
Often that turns into a finished painting.
Did you have to get a new pc? There are usb adapters you can buy to access your old drive.
www.amazon.com/Alxum-Adapter-U…
I have one (not this one) its great to have, you can even clean the drive and use it as a back up.

nilwilnil In reply to JPMNeg [2018-02-14 17:51:43 +0000 UTC]
I'll have to look into that adapter for future occurrences, but I think it's too late now.
I had the company (Acer) on the line for an hour or so and ended up doing a factory reset.
I was surprised by the files I retained, but I'm still in the process of reinstalling my old programs.
This computer is worse than before now, online browsing (especially dA) is horrible.
Time to save for a second computer with at least 16GB RAM for Photoshop.

Factory resets suck, I feel your pain.
I think the price of pcs have come down a lot, hope you can get a new one soon.

I hope so too, already started looking up the best laptops for digital art.
I don't think the "computer guy" I bought this one from really knew what I needed.
Plus, I had a low price range.

it's funny, for a long time i had a picture of an latex alien lady on my toilet door, she had a tube from the mouth (similar to your drawing) which leads into her brain (but i'm not 100 % sure about that). if i'll find the picture i will send it to you.
your robot looks sweet and sad although he owns such a pretty red ball :]

The bathroom seems a good place for art, most people will see it there sooner or later. That's where my Mona picture is (appropriately).
He seems to enjoy it. His original face had a very sweet smile on it, had to tone it down a bit :]
