Description
This was trickier to make than it looks. I finally updated it to load more smoothly but sacrificed some detail.ΒZoom in and stare at the center for an optical illusion after a dozen loops of the head.

uhm i'm not sure... maybe i didn't stare long enough, or i hadnt the right focus on the centre, but i just saw the usual rotation of the ouroboros and the head moving at a different speed

At first when I read about optical illusion,
I stared at it for 12 turn and well it was a bit wacky but nothing happened so I scrolled down.
Then I looked up and o it really stopped so I shrugged
Now I watched it till it just ended and indeed it makes the reverse effect
Not to strong tho but that is because I probably should've zoomed in having no distraction.

Seems to work better for me if I focus on the center, resist the urge to follow the head around :]

I was thinking about the matter, why the did it back then, quite a lot.

The way I understand it is that a song was originally mixed on 5 channels (for 5 speakers).Β
But most radios are stereo (2 speakers) or mono (1 speaker), so some of the low end frequencies were lost.Β
So I guess downmixing takes this into account to preserve the frequencies.Β
There are upmixing and joint up/downmixing too, but I'll stop researching for now.Β
