Description
If you're an artist, you've felt like this at times I'm sure. The bright and shining inspriation you feel versus the immense weight of life and other tasks sapping your motivation. Moving to Japan has been a great thing, but it's a LOT of work. Paperwork every day, have to take a driving course, find a house, a car, etc, etc. Whee! Also, everything that little energy pinkie is talking about are legitimately things I'm working on and/or planning. It only took me about 6 hours to do this piece so I'm getting faster. Maybe someday I'll be fast enough to keep up with my inspiration....
If anyone's interested, I posted a "process pic" on how I did this piece here:

1. I know that feel. I probably still have more time to draw than you do, but I spend it doing other things.
2. You've moved to Japan? With your family? For work?
3. It'll be okay!

Take some day off, maybe a week, don't push yourself, get things in order then if you have time, let the art live c:

Oh my gosh, JAPAN?! That is SO awesome! I mean the transfer stuff sounds difficult, but I know you can do it, and consider you incredibly lucky.

Lucky for sure, but it's also a matter of persistence. I've been applying for a job out here for a few years and it finally worked.

wait why are you moving to japan? your spouse being stationed there? also the driving over there is REALLY easy to get used to. it is just driving on the other side of the street.

Already there and yes, driving isn't bad at all. Did it for the first time today.

No worries. She's not military, I'm DoD civilian supporting the military which is how we ended up out here.

Well, not that I can't say, just that the open Internet isn't the place to do it
For most situations, "around Tokyo" is good enough since most people aren't going to meet me for Ramen or anything

So you're moving to Japan? (if i missed the announcement, forgive me) I really ought to ask you some things about the country since I'm considering whether or not to teach English over there. Only after you get settled, though, since moving takes a lot of energy, time, and work and you don't need someone constantly shooting off questions that you might not even be able to answer, let alone have the time and energy to do so.

I'm with you! So much idea so less time. And that few time is needed more for the real life. I only could support you by telling to you that for me it doesn't matter how much I should wait for your next art. The know that you are still with us, and will do pictures/comics in the future is more then enough of me. I can patiently wait for your next art, just keep going!

Everyone has enough of a "bad day" as it is, no one and I mean NO ONE needs a "cupcake" making, psychopathic killer hovering over them while they're having it.
So Pinkamena, get out.
And I mean, NOW!

But I push on because it is my passion.
Also, how's living overseas? I lived in Thailand for two years. I hope you can make the transition easily and smoothly. Have fun!
