Well, this took a long time. T.T i kept changing the fairy tale and coming up with new ideas, and then not being able to get my drawing to turn out how i wanted. But now it is finished horray!!! i do hope i get in....

Sorry for the extremely long character desciption thing. and the story is pretty much the same as the orginal at the start, but i wasnt sure if i had to write more or less or... i dont know, but i wrote an outline anyway and it made it long...

It is also probably littered with spelling mistakes as well. horray!

Name: Aoife (pronounced EE-fa)
Title: Princess
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: 16 (but there have possibly been a few years which she has lost track of)
Conutry: The Kingdom of Norm

Skills:
-Archery:
When everyone in the castle feel asleep, Aoife, who was not used to the freedom of being able to handle sharp objects. She tried out a few weapons, but she liked the bow and arrow best. She spent a lot of time practicing and is now very accurate.
-Memory:
Aoife has a very good memory, almost photographic. This may have been from the second fairys gift of intellegence.
-Low level magic:
She can do small things like create a small flame, conjure a handful of water and make light objects float.
As Aoife has had some free time on her hands, she has read her way through the palace library. There were a few magic books, and due to her memory and willingness to learn, she picked it up quickly. Unfortunately the books on magic were only for beginers, so she has had to halt her learning.

Personality:
-Calm
Aoife is very relaxed and doent get stressed easy. She takes things as they come and doesn't worry much. If she starts thinking about a problem too much, then she does get rather stressed and freaks out a little, but this rarely happens and only with large problems.
-Determined
Aoife can spend a long time doing something once she puts her mind to it, Like with the archery and the magic learning. She praticed non-stop until she had masted them as best she could.

Story:
The King and Queen of the Land of Norm thought they were never going to produce an heir to the throme. The whole Kingdom slowly crumbled as it watched their monarchs sink slowly into despair. Then, when the Queen found out she was pregnant the whole kindom rejoiced and eagerly awaited the birth of the child. Aoife was loved by all and the whole kingdom was invited to her blessing by the Three fairys.

The first Fairy gave her the gift of beauty, the second the gift of intelligence. Before the third could give her blessing, an angry witch stormed into the palace and cursed Aoife, saying that if she ever pricked herself on anything, she would sleep forever. The third fairy did her best to prevent his curse from happenning with her limited powers.

Thus, Aoife grew up with very protective parents, and she was not allowed near anything remotely sharp. She was not allowed to read books in fear of a paper cut, Nor enter the garden alone incase of a bee, or a stray thorn. Her parents took her protectiion to the extreme, and so did the kingdom as they did not want to lose their beloved princess.

Whe her sixteenth birthday finally came, their was to be a giant ball in the palace and everybody was very excited. Everything was all going to plan until just before midnight on her birthday. Aoife finally got to sit down after nonstop dancing, but alas, a stray pin from her dress poked her in the bottom.

The third fairy had succeeded in keeping Aoife from falling into an eternal sleep, but unfortunately she did not completely reverse the curse. Everybody else, in the Kindom of Norm feel asleep, leaving Aoife awake all on her own.

As she had been sheltered for most of her life, the begining was rough. She had to learn to garden for food, as everything began to go off, and do all the other tasks to keep herself alive, none of which she had ever incountered before. She lost track of time as she quickly became a very self sufficient person, and now she has been living alone in a kingdom full of people frozen in a possibly eternal slumber.

When she 'awoke' to the gravity of the situation, she realised she must find the witch who caused this mess, or even possbly find a prince to kiss, as, in all the fairytales she had begun reading, that seemed like the done thing.

Familiar:
Her cat Noodle, who she found outside on the first night of the curse. He is a very moody, not very friendly, talking cat. He objects to being called Noodle, and is not affectionate in the slightest, but he is her only companion and has stuck with her, even though he denies liking her company.

Additional facts:
She hasnt slept much since the kingdom fell asleep. Only an hour or two at night and less as time goes on. This has lead to her becoming increaseingly good at magic and archery as she has even more free time.
