It seems like it takes me forever with digital painting as well. Sometimes I think maybe I'm doing it wrong but I really think it's because with tradition painting....I tend to be more impressionistic.....with traditional paints the canvas/paper is always the same distance away.....with digital you've got that darn 'view actual pixels' zoom....and I think "EEK...that looks terrible!" So I go back and work on the detail some more....heh....

I also spend a lot more time on digital stuff, its easier to be a perfectionist ... of course that makes it a lot harder to create something you like in the end.
