Alex's PoV

I was sitting on the windowsill in my room. Yeah, that was a super boring day today. But it’s ok. And I feel so relaxed, there aren’t all of those unstoppable steams of thoughts in my head, I’m not worried about anything and… and that’s, damn, that’s the best feeling I’ve ever experienced. Just imagine if you would have been always whispered without a stop in your ear during the whole day, and then it just suddenly stopped, what a relief it would have been for you.

As I mentioned already, my location of sitting, or to be more precise, of half-lying, is my windowsill. That’s my sacred place. Well, I mean, I sit here on some special days. Like today. Ya’know, atmosphere and shit. No, I’m not a romantic , of course, but this temptation wins me over. And that temptation is – it’s raining, and raining heavily, it can even be seen how the huge droplets hit the ground and splash in numerous directions. It’s darkening, some people are in their rooms already, and some are still sitting, chatting and laughing in the living room downstairs. You got it right? The atmosphere is just something unreal. Why can’t it be like that every time? Like, I just need this environment for maintaining my mental equilibrium. Cuz I’m so f*cking tired from my constant mood changes.

Ah, there’s indeed nothing better than that – sitting at the window, pillowed, feeling the scent of the rain through the small opening in the window and reading the favourite book. By the way, of a Russian author – Leo Tolstoy, the book being “On Insanity”. And no, that’s not the manual on how to recognize a schizophrenic. Just if you want to get your mind to business – that’s a book for you. At least it’s helping me. And I have drunk loads of coffee with Lara, so hello there sleepless night. But that’s not bothering me, I want to enjoy this weather as long as possible. Tomorrow all of this stable’s vanity will start all over again. And I want to go home so bad. Missing my sister. Yup, I am a human as well, and I have feelings.

I’m skipping that moment when all of those unnecessary and uncontrollable thoughts have started to crawl into my head again. This time I’ve succeeded to whip them away. But it’s worth controlling myself just to finish this book during this night. Yeah, I know, sleep is vital. And I know I’m an idiot. But what can I do? I’m reclining, dying my head against the wall. My neck and back are already asleep from that large amount of time spent sitting in one position. And I’m just starting to gaze through the window and calmly thinking about life and the past, which was, definitely, loads worse than what’s happening with me now. Right were those people, who said communication with horses helps… But let’s not go deep in personal. Although, what is that personal that can be between you and me? I’m like an opened book. What’s left for you – is just to understand me.
