Description I wanted to submit something to my dA gallery since the last thing I uploaded that was my work was the portrait of Elizabeth Taylor. However I've nothing to upload that's worth of it, I've some finished old pictures but I don't really want to see them here, at least not yet lol So I decided to submit how my actual proyect moves on. It's going to be a new ID, one of those pixel ID and at this moment I'm with the character of the ID, next will come the portrait and finally the finished work. I know it seems that the character is big, actually it is really big, but I work better this way, I'll resize it when I'll make the ID composition. This way I can use the picture for other things in the future if I wish.

Now, about the actual part of the WIP I've submitted now, as you see it's only the outline of the character. Unless I'm in art class or I have tons of time and a great illumination and space I only work directly on my computer, drawing directly with the mouse and with a pencil brush of 1 pixel, which explains why always my works seem so pixelated though I'm working in fixing that. Normally I first draw the body, face with little details and hair, the hair comes first as it helps me to position the body and consider the wind and light sources for the future steps. Some things like the sword may be drawn in this first step or later, depending on how daring I feel, I was inspired so I didn't need to dar the hand completely to draw the sword so this time it comes made from the very first step ^^

Second step from my character for the pixel ID. I've added the outlie of the clothes with little to no detail and keeping the outlines of the body to help me keep the proportions and movement feeling of the body. At this point I made a decision that changed quite a lot the original idea I had of the picture, originally it was going to be me as a swordgirl with a armour, however I've ended going for a more fantasy like clothing no ussing any armour at all. Also I decided to rip her skirt and a bit of the inner body she wears on one arm although that one was also mostly to remind me that that wasn't flesh, the rip of her jacket also come as an after thought although I like how it turned.

Actual step: Body outline

Next step: Clothes outline
