I finaly got one!It is from an old collection and very dusty, i cleaned it a lot and now it is nearly finished, only some smal things to do.
It is a big male camel, around 46 cm long (a bit less than 18 inches).
He is the biggest real skull in my skull collection now!

I got mine as a gift and when I first saw it I literally couldn't figure out what it was the skull of. The front teeth and the gap were just so foreign and I couldn't think of what large animal could have produced it. Once I gave up a few minutes later and was told it was a camel it became super obvious....
Oh ignorance.
I like the patina on this skull. Very classic.

I got this one from ebay and the seller did not know what it was - he just worte animal skull see photo and no size there.. I first thought it might be a lama, but i researched a bit and found out it must be a camel - and when i got it there is even written male camel in the bottom jaw - seller must be afraid to touch it because it was covered in dust.
It is from an older collection i think - it was very dark dusty and has some darker spots, so far i cleaned it with a lot of water and a brush and some 11% H2O2 and a brush to cover some darker ares more than already light ones. i still have to clean the teeth more with water and H2O2 or so because they are pretty dirty and crusted with stuff

Ja finde ich auch. Durch das saubermachen ist er auch ganz gut geworden. Ich kanns mir ja versuchen zu merken falls ich nochmal irgendwo einen sehe oder den irgendwann mal abgeben sollte

Ah, klasse Schädel! Und scheinbar ja ein echtes Monster.
Wobei es ja irgendwie unter den Kamelen ja doch wieder klein ist.

Also der von Skullsunlimited ist auch ungefähr so groß. Mir ist der jedenfalls groß genug, ich muss noch schauen wohin mit dem! Oo ...
Der war ziemlich dunkel grau, staubig und dreckig und so aber mit Wasser und H2O2 gehts wieder
