This is my entry for the Supernatural club contest. You can find the club and the contest here: [link]Well, I didn't have much time to do this, so I used pretty much a less detailed version of the costume I had already used in the other Michael!Dean drawing: [link] Then, things got out of control, and I added useless paraphernalia on the wings XD
Basically, this Michael is in the middle of a fight, that's how the mantle and the left arm (and armbrace, which is nowhere to be seen) got damaged. Not that he cares.
Big thanks to my Mentor ( *thenizu ), who mentorized me out of my uncertainties XD Although, I still think he looks like Superman (dressing up as Prince Charming dressing up as Archangel Michael -____-' ) ...and he really shouldn't, 'cause, as my friend ~aredhel made me notice, Dean Winchester isn't Superman; he is, in fact, Batman. But I had to use those colours because they are, apparently, Michael's favourite. In every painting I checked he wears red and light blue (...yes, all the previous nonsense was an introduction to this tiny bit of factual information

amazingly well done. I just cant help but think about how heavy those wings have to be with that gold on them, not to mention the ribbons hanging from them, which could easily become tangled in a tree or something.

and then hanging there like a puppet, hoping that no one comes around or he will be humiliated for all eternity.
Ever see the third austin powers movie where the fat man is trying to do an aerial stunt and his line snaps and he's just hanging there in mid air and its kinda awkward? Yeah. Thats what I see this as. Michael just hanging there.

yeah...uhm, I don't know, red sashes? red silk bands? They're my favourite part of the drawing and the first thing I coloured! XD

It's really beautiful and awesome (although now I'm feeling like I need to change some stuff or it will look like I partly plagiated you... although my silk bands are in white and gold, and the crosses hang in the ends... 
Oh, well... *deep, overly dramatic sigh* but really, this is gorgeous! He looks so powerful and his wings look so strong...

It's the same fear I had towards Fox4859's drawing! But it turned out pretty different in the end! So don't worry Fox, don't change anything, it would be a pity, you have already started it!! Apparenty, we all took inspiration from a certain image we have of him, probably inspired by the paintings!! If they tell you something, I will kick their...I mean, I will politely tell them you had already started it!! OAO ...actually...can I see it? Can I? Can I? *_______* *panda puppy eyes* yes, I have no shame.

Oh, yeah, I remember you said something about that! But you're right, your pictures are very different and both are very gorgeous (but I like your pic best, I mean; the pose, and the lovely kinda pergamenty feeling... oh, and the crusader crosses on the wing guards and the knee plate... lovely details!!!)
Yeah, I have always had my ideas on how the Archangels look, and Michael, Gabriel and Rafael has been my favourites when designing looks for, so I have a very distinct idea of how their clothes and wings are

Just saw (ten minutes of) a TV program that mentioned the SPN Italian Convention -_____- They managed to pronounce EVERYTHING incorrectly!! OAO "Ekkels" (Ackles) "Padelchi/Padelechi/Padalechki"("chi" like the japanese pronounciation) and finally "JUICE IN BELLO"(jus in bello) You're Italian, for Cas' sake, try to read Latin properly!!!!! OAO *inspires, expires, inspires, expires...then decides this isn't working, and bangs head on desk*

I mean, I've always been quite of an angel-phobe (shouldn't have read stuff when i was little lol), so this one kinda struck me both with great fear, but also by its beauty.
Dude that friggin sword!!! Love it! I mean, it sorta has some kinda Final Fantasy feel to it, and the things on the wings are srsly epic. And the booooooooooots!!!
