Description This was made for the SPN_tarot community on livejournal.
The mods were lovely enough to contact me and tell me about this project, and I was immediately enthusiastic about it *U* <33

So, this is Temperance, Major Arcana. I tried to stick to the traditional symbolism of this card (an angel holding two cups, standing near a river, but I set the scene at night and made Cas stand on the water, because he's awesome like that XD) but I know nothing about tarots, so I hope I didn't make any terrible mistakes XD

One of the meaning of this card is that opposites can be merged together. The card description in the community mentioned someting like mixing firey red and watery blue, so I took it literally and made Cas juggle with fire and water. Trying to draw fire and water was actually what made me so eager to do this card, because I draw Cas and wings all the time, but I had never drawn fire and water (with PS at least) I hope they don' look too bad. >__>' There are a lot of things that I would like to change in this pic, but for now I'm too busy/lazy

I hope he can levatate whilest a mortal is clinging ot his wings, because the MOMENT I figure out how to get to him, I'm glomping his wings!

XDDDDDDDDD Of course he can!! The mortal needs to be strong enough to hold on tight while he flies though, don't expect him to catch you if you fall, he has bigger concerns. U_U

I've never seen a Temperance card with fire in it, but there are thousands of decks out there. I really like the symbolism in it. And mixing Cas with one of my favorite cards was great!

Yes, I think it's usually represented as an angel pouring water from one cup to another, but I'm really ignorant about tarots! XD

Thanks that was the fun bit, the difficult part was the water pouring from the cup Uhhh yes, but I'm used to do things slowly (a combination of laziness and detail-geekiness(?) that I kind of hate, I'd like to be faster *headdesk*)

Amazing job! The fire and water turned out great. Great attention to the light cast of the flames! There's so much dimension to this piece. Course it's of Cas, so that makes it ten times better too.

Oh yes, I did make a Zachariah card. But I think it needs a specific frame for it if I add it to the community. I just never found it or got the chance to put together.
