It's harder to find more information for animator leads (well, maybe not so much hard as just confusing!) but a lot of concept art i found of Belle featured her in this pink dress, with either her hair up in a very high bun or else in the bun with a single side pony. I'm going out on a limb, but I think it was originally intended to have more of a 18thC vibe going on with her clothes.Anyways, this would be right about when she says "Come into the light"

Edit: the concept series for right now are just quick paints, I may come back to this one to tidy it up for later though.

Hey, I tried looking up concept art - and it's freaking hard! I couldn't really find anything searching online, except for concept art pictures of OTHER characters from "Mulan", but I have an idea. You see, Mulan was based off a Chinese legend, right? Well, there are historical illustrations of that story lying around, and I found this one on wikipedia: [link] It's not movie concept art, but if you run short on ideas, it's a start.

Um...no, I don't know, actually. Easiest thing to do would be to look up who the original animator for her was, just as you did for the other girls you've already drawn.

Mark Henn did her stuff too (or was at least the lead), got a nomination and everything, but... Hey, remember those old trailers for the movie that used to show the scene before it was colored? XD

I don't know if I ever saw the "old" trailer for this movie, though - or if I did, I was pretty little.

Who said you were old? I certainly didn't! Ok, so I wasn't, like, a toddler or anything when I first came across "Mulan", but I definitely don't remember the concept art from it.
