Dunno about this one... I've had a bit of struggle with it and in the end I am not sure wether it's actually finished already or maybe not?.. Either way - it's Alice, my OC, but it's very unlike her to just stand still and stare like that haha.Well, I hope you like her. Comments and critique are welcome, I am still learning!

The effect is brilliant, and let me tell you why I think so.
There is this almost, "fog" about part of the picture. And, with the butterflies- the mind tells us it's motion. But, the lasse remain motionless.. So, why is part of her hair representing the same effect?
Love.
When we, as a people experience love- sometimes we get light-headed and dizzy. That is what we are experiencing we we view this piece. A captured moment of love.
I can tell because when I look into her eyes, time is unimportant and a feeling of elation grasps at me.

When putting things in like blurs or stuff, especially if they look out of place in a picture it is important to make the viewer know why they are there. So introduce lore to the painting, who she is, why parts of her is being blurred out or hit by wind, and stuff. It's an additional way to strengthen a picture. That said, good job. A picture or painting is never over, there are always things you can add to it. So something else, knowing when to stop is a pretty good thing.

Well, this is a character of mine, having it's own story and stuff... But since I write only iin my native language I can't really present what's behind the illustration. On the other hand - it would be a shame not to post it

Would of like a stronger expression, but looks nice as is.
I personally feel the other butterflies should be a different color or grey.
I don't know the story behind your OC, to understand the significance of the
butterfly, but it feels the one that lingers is the most important.
