How long did this take? It is lovely, I like the how the back-stitching of the ring has multiple colors, but it looks almost like satin stitch with the placement of the stitches. I like it very much!

Thank you, it took me about 4 evenings (embroidery only, hand sewing the cushion another evening). I used cotton thread, the same I usually use for macramΓ© and crochet.

I like the effect of the Macrame thread! It almost looks like a smooth-looking crewel yarn/fiber piece.
