the local lego store had a mess of purple pieces: 1x2 tiles, 2x3 plates, and trans purple cones!my poor girlfriend had to wait there while I zealously filled a large cup of those purple pieces (with some in lime green)
this one, I wanted to keep playing with integrating System and Hero Factory pieces
i got some interesting shoulder joint action (not visible), but I can always improve it
and yeah... lime green + purple is the best!

This reminds of FOC Optimus Prime (Fall of Cybertron) but also give me a Constructicon feel to but i love the design and color's over all this is a very very very awesome M.O.C man.

I love the texture of those boxy segments over the shoulders! I had to puzzle over those for a few minutes before I could tell what pieces you used!
The legs and torso integrate Hero Factory parts very well. The main part I dislike is the arms. Proportionally, they're great, and their level of detail is good, but I feel that with their many exposed studs and anti-studs they don't really mesh with the rest of the model, which is dominated by smoother surfaces. I'm not sure what parts you could use to improve the arms as it would be difficult to smooth them out without sacrificing detail.

it's due to parts availability and if i were to design them like the feet (having studs on 3 sides) it would be too wide
