Description
Morning starts early for L'o, usually having to go to the town market to run some errands while produce is fresh and the movement is still slow. But there is always a fresh batch of Coatala Tails to be brought home, cut in bundles, boiled, washed and dried before being dyed and spun into thread. Luckily for her, Ms. Laica isn't too old to spin or weave on her own, which gives her plenty of time to sneak in a second breakfast before her other chores.

The rest of the morning, L'o is somewhat free to have a few hours to herself before clients start to arrive. Still having that exploring drive from her younger days, she often wanders the edge of the creek that passes by the neighbouring farms, in hopes of catching some fish or, even better, find her favorite clay bank in just the right level of moisture to experiment with clay sculpture and pottery. Nothing much have come of it so far, but Ms. Laica's shelves have started to gather an interesting collection of dried figurines. On rainier days, L'o prefers to stay in and read from the considerable library the old seamstress has.

When not running the town making deliveries or arranging new costumers, L'o is often the one making the meals, and once she learned not to burn things to a carbonated mess (and after many arguments over the difference between "burned" and "crispy"), she learned to really enjoy cooking. Especially the little baked treats to feed customers whenever they have to spend a bit too much time in the boutique, making adjustments and trying different outfits. The young Wyngro found another way to work off that adventurous streak through baking, experimenting with recipes and new ingredients. She doesn't often gets to share her creations with others, however, since she's always a bit heavy-handed on the spices, to the point of being beyond consumption.

If it was up to her, L'o would rather spend her whole day with the Puckoos, but Prancerboots doesn't make it easy for her, pouncing her when he thinks she's overstayed her welcome. Say what you will for the leading male in the small dunce, he's a dedicated father and not one prone to leaving a nest unguarded. But, those eggs need to be fetched, and the old fancy grump only really lets his guard down by the end of the day when he goes to suck on some pebbles. It's the perfect time to raid those nests, so long as she's fast enough not to get caught in the act by the Puckoo. The rest of the dunce aren't as fussy about losing a few eggs, and enjoy swarming all over the teen as soon as she's in the enclosure. And L'o wouldn't mind it either if she wasn't in a rush to avoid Prancerboot's wrath.

While L'o has gotten a bit more sociable with age, she's still most at peace when on her own. And after those really busy days, she often grabs a bowl of treats and heads down to the creek, letting the current soothe her aching toes and watch the stars. Sometimes the Lumibugs or Moonweeds will drift her way, which only add to her quiet moment. It's a good life, she thinks, not what she expected when she was a child, dreaming of grandieur and magical adventures, but now that she's here, she finds this is a life one she can enjoy living.
