Aaaaand kelpies!! Not your usual kelpie, granted, but a mix with them and hippocampus. They are known to haunt the seas in pods, ramming ships and attacking the the crew mercilessly until the ship sinks and all the sailors have drowned. They feed on those deaths, and as soon as they are done they swim off to look for their next victim. Some say they are the tormented spirits of people who have drowned at sea, and that's how they first appear and multiply. Others think they were originally some werebeast that spread their curse and no one's been able to truly undo the damage. No one's really sure, though.

Manza probably got paid to get rid of this troublesome pod that's been hounding the shores in some fishing town. At least it's a small one, otherwise they might have been bold enough to attack the docks of the town; it's happened before. Nawdrin is clearly upset, not wanting those things even within 5 feet of his witch. At least their blood has some nice magical attributes, like letting one breathe underwater. Or making their bones turn to dust, depends what you mix it with.
