Women’s Month Artwork

Dedicated to my daughter, a science major at a prominent university. Growing up I didn’t see any illustrations of women in my science textbooks, a reflection of antiquated notions that women had no business being interested in the sciences. Or anything else besides Home Economics. I’m glad that times have changed and my daughter, and other young (and older) women, now have so many more options available to them. I’m a firm believer that anything a man can do, a woman can also do.
