For this one, one of several "Looney Tunes" cartoons that really stuck with me the most throughout my childhood was the Bugs Bunny cartoon "14 Carrot Rabbit". In that one, Yosemite Sam is a claim jumper who makes a living by stealing the gold found by other prospectors. But of course, he ends up crossing paths with Bugs Bunny, who still manages to outsmart him at every turn. Maybe if "Garfield and Friends" did an episode like this particular cartoon, it would involve Jon, Garfield, and Odie traveling to the Yukon and are initially successful in finding a large gold nugget, only for a notorious claim jumper to swipe it from them just as soon as they have found it. Of course, Jon ends up failing miserably and hilariously in trying to get the gold nugget back, so Garfield and Odie take it upon themselves to get the gold nugget back by tricking the claim jumper that the gold nugget he found isn't actual gold at all.Original meme:Β www.deviantart.com/tessmcgrathβ¦
