Machoke, the super-buff, under-appreciated guardian of a mountain forest. He resides in the Rock Cave and takes on young Charizard as his student.

Charizard, an anthropomorphic Pokemon, was saved by Machoke back when he was a Charmeleon. Constantly looked down upon for his lack of power, Charmeleon used a Fire Stone to evolve and went to Machoke to beg for training.

Together, they both find companionship and take up the role of guardians of the mountain. They become close friends quickly, but will they become more during the intense year of training?

Anyways, I made Charizard's artwork using Machoke's art from Pokemon Emerald as a base. I made Machoke's artwork using Machamp's artwork from Pokemon Emerald.
