Dave from Airboarder 64. I really wanted to do a proper tribute to Airboarder 64 for a while now. I only ever played this game on emulator, but maaan did I play the everloving fuck out of it. It's had a big impact on how I portray airboarding, extreme gear and all kinds of extreme sports in general. It's a criminal shame that it's such an obscure and unheard of game. It's not the best, but it's still pretty fun for what it is.

I didn't even really like Dave at first. I was always more into the likes of Alph as a rider. It's only going back to it a few years down the line that I immediately fell in love with this fatass. XP

As I mentioned before, because of how shitty the image quality for promo art was and how wonky the N64 era character models look, I had to improvise a lot on him. one big source of inspiration and reference was Coop of Megas XLR, who, honestly, looks like he could be Dave's long lost brother. XP It was a lot of fun giving him improvisations and improvements here and there to make him work better in my style and to (Subtly, for once.) show off my attraction to him. (Though I admit his ass crack must look like a pair of double-D tits in a A-cup bra from how low his shorts are hanging XP.)

So here's my tribute to a game that only a few people remember, but that has a warm place in my videogaming heart. Airboarder 64. Here's hoping more people get to know you.

BTW, Maximum Driver is Dave's signature trick. He jumps off his board and lifts it above his head in mid-air. I decided it looked a bit bland as a single pose though, so instead he's doing a backside tailgrab.
