Description
Numapir (Noo-MAH-pir) is the first Fakemon of my Fake-dex. The name is derived from Numachi (Japanese for 'swamp') and 'tapir', the animal which this is based on. The ears are leaves, and the thing on the end of the tail is a ball of moss, in case you were wondering.
So, it stands at about 2 feet tall, weighs about 40 pounds (the same height as a Bulbasaur, but almost double it's weight) and is one of the three starter Pokemon for this (as yet un-named) region.
Species: Mud Tapir Pokemon
Type: Grass/Ground
Numapir are good-tempered Pokemon; they are very matter-of-fact and aren't taunted easily. They rarely get into a temper, and are very eager to please their trainers.
They attack by shooting seeds rapidly out of their short trunk, and can throw razor leaves by whipping their ears. Their primary form of attacking, though, is physical; they give very powerful tackles and can easily knock another Pokemon out with a well-placed headbutt.
Their ability is Chlorophyll, which boosts their speed in bright sunlight.
