This is another magazine cover I did which I'll probably never create an actual book of. Pretty sad. Right? Well, I guess I shouldn't say never.My thoughts were to go with a very old school look for the interior, something black and white maybe toned like they did in the old days, very independent looking which is what I love. Maybe even having different no name artists or other fans contributing in some fashion. Sorry. Don't mean to get anyone excited for something that might not happen but there is good news. I'm trying to put together an all Leonardo issue which has a greater chance of happening than this one.
As for this cover, I really like the way it turned out. Leo's my favorite but damn, Raph is moving up fast. He's such a cool character so I wanted to have him come off as such for this cover. I'd really like to do something with this guy so we'll see what happens.

It's a great idea in theory but getting anyone to commit to it in some small part could be a problem. People are mostly too busy. Hell, I have a hard time committing to my own stuff but if I keep doing a little bit here and there, It's liable to see the light of day.
I really like writing Raph's dialog. You can come up with all kinds of clever smart ass lines and it just sounds cool that's not to say that's the only way he should talk.

It's great but it would be greater if I had the dedication to see this through till the end. Creating a fanzine I mean. Like I said, a Leo one is in the works so I'll be working hard to make that my first completed fanzine.
And thanks for adding this to your collection. It's always extra special when official TMNT staff take notice of us little guys.

Didn't you do sketch cards and alternate covers for IDW and do work for the Nick show? You're so modest. LOL! That doesn't really count as being a little guy in my book but I guess that depends on one's interpretation. I'm super stoked you enjoy my stuff though.
I only ever colored 7 pages of TMNT for IDW but it's a start. Maybe one day I'll be able to change my little guy status.
