Description
I got a "virtual pet" in the 90's called a Digimon. It was the same as a Tamagachi, but it was geared towards boys and you could like up with a friend who also had one and they could battle. They would evolve at random and poop on the screen. I've actually got the toy in my office next to an old Game and Watch I played growing up.

In the late 90's my family took a trip to Disney world, and I was watching cartoons while waiting for everyone to get ready when I saw a preview for the Digimon cartoon. It blew my mind. I watched Season 1 every Saturday morning while it aired. Every episode was great and I loved seeing the each digivolution. I remember making friends watch it if I spent the night at someone's house. I remember where I was when they first showed the Mega level forms. I was at my Grandma's house when the last episode of series 1 aired and I remember how empty I felt at the end. I had started to use the internet by the time the second series aired and was so relieved when I read the rumors that the original digi destined were coming back, even tho they weren't the main characters of the show.

Anyhow, nostalgic ramblings aside, here is my tribute to one of my favorite characters, Angemon.
