I always thought it was funny a gerbil with wings digivolved into an angel. Also how Gatomon was actually at the same level of evolution as Angemon.

Yeah, I thought about having them all the same level as Gatomon and Angemon, but a giant cactus and a bird with teeth just didn't fit what I was going for. lol.
