I agree. Although I did have a Digimon pet key chain thingy during the whole tomagachi phase of the 90's. Haw many seasons did you watch? I ended during the one where the kids where turning into digimon, although I did see some of the series after that w/ the covert organization running everything.

I believe that I stopped after adventure 2, basically when they said all the previous seasons were just a tv show and a government agent was shadowing the new characters, that pissed me off so I stopped there.

So sounds like we ended around the same time.

Well pokemon did give kids seizures. Then they showed the seizure inducing clip on the news and more kids had seizures. haha. Also, a lot of people thought digimon was a pokemon spin off, eventho digimon came out during the whole tamagachi phase and was later made into a show which I think had more in depth plots than pokemon did. I guess it just wasn't as popular and was therefore saved from criticism.
