This week's update is a two- parter!!In my 3D I class, we're modeling, rigging, and animating a robot that we had to design. We started out with two robot designs and then ultimately chose one to work on for the rest of the semester, and this is the second design of the two. We started by making turnarounds of the character in order to use as reference when we sculpted them in Maya! You can clearly tell that I didn't have a preference at all of which robot I would rather model. Nope. I definitely put as much time into the ButtBot as I did into the BubBot. This robot is actually designed after my fish, Chubby Bubby!! He's dead now. He was a fish I had last semester, and a goldfish may seem insignificant to you, but I loved him nonetheless and I still talk about and draw him all the time! I absolutely loved designing this.
