It's long delayed companion piece for Sunset stars . After eight years! I think until quite recently, I didn't even realize what a hard time I had with my mental heatlh and recovery, it was like longest art block ever. But it seems to be in the past now and I'm very happy about it.
At first I was going to make moon more stylized and with mandala-like pattern on it, but during the process I decided against it, I like it the way it is now, lotus pattern I choose earlier would've been a bit too much, especially when after painting water, I realized this piece will fit my inner Space Forest glimpses Oh, and indigo worked so well for this piece, for water and grass as well (I know grass looks black, but it's indigo - I don't use plain black paint anymore in paintings, only in craft and design projects etc )
