How do you artists post these pictures without a white background? I wonder how you all are able to pull that off.
Or do you need Core for that?
Other than that I love Mario a lot myself! Luigi too but I'm a bigger fan of Mario. And a few of my favorite games are Super Mario Bros (NES, yeah the graphics look a dime a dozen but I still like the game as is) Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Land 2, and Super Mario All Stars to name a few. I also like Super Mario Bros 2 and 3. Oh and New Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo D.S.

Save the picture as a PNG

That's what I always do, or almost always do when I save artwork and post it, using Paint. In fact every picture I post on DA, including photos, are on Paint and saved as PNGs but I still get a white background.

MS Paint can't save to a PNG. There are however, other software you can use that are compatable with transparent PNGs like Gimp, Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop.
