I agree with you. I downloaded a copy of UF years ago but was afraid of it. After spending years using Photoshop I decided to try it again and had no problem learning to us UF.

Once I started thinking of UF as akin to Photoshop,
I picked it up fast, but yeah, it was intimidating at first.
UF comes with an in depth tutorial to help you get going.
It's different than Apo in all the right ways
and offers much more artistic freedom. Apo now feels like using crayons.
I highly recommend getting a copy
