hey, it's another redraw! this time it's a redraw of this old drawing from 2011: fav.me/d4h86fr

and also, that drawing and this remake are based on this japanese commercial for kirby and the amazing mirror: youtu.be/CkTxwymCXQg

i had a lot of fun drawing ideas back in 2011, and i'm much less creative nowadays, so i guess it's fun to go back to these old concepts and actually draw them well, haha

i'm still terrible at drawing backgrounds, but i at least tried to put some details into this one... look at those individual strands of grass... and i also tried to make those backgrounds a bit more kirby-y, for lack of a better word – like the waddle dee and bronto burt behind yellow kirby, or the starry skies behind red kirby and green kirby

also, i'm sorry for the lack of Art Content lately, in terms of full-on coloured drawings with backgrounds and stuff... but i'm gonna make up for that now because i have this drawing, AND my Big Mario Project i've been working on is being uploaded in a few days too!!! that's how it is with me – you get barely any content for 4 months, and then you get 2 fully coloured, lined, shaded drawings with detailed backgrounds in the span of a week lmao

i also procrastinated heaps on this drawing, probably bc i burned myself out with working on the Big Mario Drawing constantly, haha (and i couldn't be bothered doing the background, but i forced myself to do it eventually)

anyway... i hope you guys like this drawing
