yeah it annoys me when people list dedede as a villain because like
the only really legitimately "bad" thing i can remember dedede ever doing was stealing all the food in kirby's dreamland/spring breeze
even revenge of the king in super star ultra, where he plays an antagonistic role, is like, a one-on-one fight thing with kirby out of revenge or whatever, not particularly "evil"
literally every other time you fight him he's either possessed or mistaken for the bad guy or something
