Fair enough, we have a proverb in Italy that (literally translated) says: "The world is beautiful because it is varied". Which I find nicer than the English "To each their own".

But it may not be the same; supposedly the Italian equivalent of "to each his own" is "a ciascuno il suo " , which looks too short.
