The world was blessed when Ferdinand Patrick Roberts' presence graced the hospital on a dank, rainy day in March. Birds sang, angels cried, and hell froze over.

No, that's all a heavy exaggeration. Everyone's lives went on normally, but Ferdinand loves to think and tell himself that...the self important brat.

Growing up in Twinleaf Town, Ferdinand stayed in a quaint little house with his mother, father, older brother and older sister. His life was pretty average: went to school, did homework (eww, not by his own will. His parents pratically forced him to), and screwed around for most of the day. From there, the Cubchoo learned basic things kids were learning at his age: if you threw a tantrum you could get what you wanted, speaking louder makes you more intimidating, and girls had cooties.

You know, the usual.

During his childhood, Ferdinand often had to endure the teasing and older-sibling-bullying from his big brother. The big stupid teenager. He'd give Ferdy the worst noogies, wedgies and wet willies. His big sister often ignored them, more interested in her phone, and Ferdy didn't mind because he didn't want her touching him anyway. She probably had cooties too. And big sister cooties were the worse. Were all teenagers like this? Gaaah...how awful. Ferdy didn't want to turn out to be like that when he was one.

He did adopt a few of his older brother's methods though...mainly the wet willies. When he wasn't getting teased, he did train side by side with his older brother. In that sense, Ferdy looked up to him.

And the training paid off when Ferdinand went to school. He'd gotten into a fight with one of the goody-two-shoes, teacher's pet student in his class. What happened was this: Ferdy was being stupid and loud (as usual) when all of a sudden, the glasses-wearing Zizagoon of a teacher's pet called him out for it! And told the teacher on him! Told. The teacher. And Ferdy got a stupid scolding and a detention for it! Stupid teachers and their detention-giving abilities...if he could, he would love to be the one to give them a detention.

Needless to say, Ferdy didn't like it and gave the boy the thrashing that he thought he deserved.

There were many mixed feelings that day. Some kids in his class were appalled, others were astounded. The ones that were astounded approached Ferdinand and asked if he had ever heard of this super-top-secret agency called PND that fought to protect the innocence of children and from situations like...these.

Of course, the Cubchoo was interested. He wanted to help, totally! And PND could surely use him...or so he told himself. Thus, he spent his time training in hopes that he would catch one of the super-secret agents' eye.

Personality:
Ferdinand has a sharp tongue and chooses to disobey rules and regulations when he feels that: a) they don't apply to him specifically, or b) they're stupid. With his stubborn nature, it's hard to deter him away from such a thought pattern. He's selfish, loud, typically rude, and an all around spoiled brat. He also tends to stick his nose into people's business when he certainly doesn't need to. Despite all of that, though, Ferdinand enjoys having fun and making others happy...even if he has odd ways of showing it at times (like sticking bugs in someone's food to make another laugh). He's easily embarrassed, which usually causes him to get annoyed, but his heart is in the right place...most of the time. When he makes a promise, he tries to never break it. He can become extremely protective and can definitely hold grudges.

Hobbies:
~Snowboarding: Even though he's pretty bad at it, Ferndinand's too stubborn to quit and thinks that if he keeps trying hard enough, he'll eventually get better.
~Eavesdropping: Because he's an oh so nosy bear, he loves listening in on others' conversations or asking someone many personal questions. He doesn't know the boundaries of personal space and will go to great lengths to be a Peeping Tom.
~Tree Climbing: As his Delibird father used to take him flying, Ferdinand's grown to like being in high places for the thrill of the wind in his fur and seeing the open sky. So, to achieve that, he climbs trees just to stare into the sky.
~Watching Television: Because what kid doesn't like watching TV Ferdy can glue himself to the screen for hours on end.

Frustration (TM) - [As the name of the move might suggest, whenever Ferdinand becomes frustrated or agitated beyond control, he uses this move in the form of a temper tantrum, kicking and slapping.]
Icy Wind - [Generally caused when Ferdinand has a tickle in his nose and sneezes. The mucus from his nose turns into snot-snow.]
Brine - [Ferdinand sucks in his mucus and a jet of water streams out from his mouth. Usually only uses this when he's taken too many hits and his mucus is watery.]
Fury Swipe - [Time to talk to...the claws! Tis his more commonly used move, just swiping away at things and other 'Mons.]
