Pikmin is one of my favourite games. So I had to draw a picture to it.The title is "Story of my life". I mean the Pikmin's life is really simple. And kinda sad. Some weird guy (Olimar) comes and uses you to fix his rocket, and your death doesn't mean much.
The original idea for this picture was to draw the thoughts of a Pikmin. Sometimes I really wonder what they are thinking. And I came to the conclusion that Pikmin don't think.
So this is what I came up with.

Only if you suck at the game. What makes Olimar beneficial to the Pikmin is that before he was made to survive on what could be seen as Earth, the creatures were struggling for survival. It's only with Olimar's tactics that they were able to rebuild their ranks, kill their predators and make their way around traps. It's because of the Pikmin's loyalty that they help the visitor and his space company survive, no doubt because Olimar is saving them in the process.

Actually,every time a bunch of Pikmin die,im pretty sure Olimar's sad about it,its just Olimar dosent want to mourn over death right away,he needs to keep strong to himself,and show no fear to the enemy,so his pikmin stay strong like him.If Olimar just freaked out,the Pikmin probably would freak out with him,since their leader is.Olimar probably feels sorry everytime,but like I said he has to stay strong

Now I think I should draw something like this.
Olimar is in some random cave and all but one of his pikmin dies. So he starts yelling at the one little pikmin
"You cannot die you hear me? If you die we all fail this mission and I go back to my freaking boss as a failure. Not to mention the assload of treasure and money we loose if you die. So if you so much as think about killing yourself I don't know what I would do.
(Cue the random bulborb to eat the last remaining pikmin.)
"Damn it son of a bitch I will kill you with my bare hands. Hey what the hell you stupid ship I am still here and I have full health I can kill one little bulborb like it's nothing put me down damn it."

pellet + onion = pikmin
pikmin + bulborb = dead pikmin

I think their deaths should mean more to Olimar.
Pikmin helped keep him alive. :/
(When I was playing Pikmin 2, about 50 of my Pikmin died all at once.

I don't remember what killed them though. :/ I think it was the thing in the Bulblax Kingdom.

Emperor Bulblax? I don't know, I haven't gotten there yet... In fact, I got that game yesterday (though I had played it before

Very interesting!!! My theory about how Pikmin think is that the Pikmin are NOT sentient, but the Onions that produce them ARE. The Onions telepathically "pilot" The Pikmin, and the Onion receives sensory signals from them so they can tell what's going on around the Pikmin as if they WERE the Pikmin. The Pikmin obey Olimar because his brainwaves mimic that of an Onion. Did I mention that this is a masterpiece?

I barely lose Pikmin when I play, but I think it's because I'm so determined not to let any of them die.

The way I see it, Pikmin think like worker ants or bees.

That's why I use Action Replay to make Olimar invincible and use him to fight a lot of the enemies. Keeps Pikmin safer.

I really love that game, but- the pikmin don't really mean that much to you when you play (even though you would be dead without them). A couple die, and it's like, "whatever".

that is heeps good but to me their death mean a lot I barly go in cave in number 2 because I'm scarred they will die just to day I was in fronter cave because my bro and talked me into it and I ran out of itt almost in tears because I had gone in with 70 gained some bulbmin and left with 1 (bulbmin can't leave the cave) because of the stupid boss so I left with barly hurting it
