First time entering the model of the month contest!
I wanted to do something that incorporated two emotions. Though Hope can be seen as more of a belief then an emotion I think depending on how it's used it is an emotion.
The two represent life and death, life hopes to continue on all the while knowing death is always around the corner. Death is part of everything and everything's time runs out eventually.
Always in a constant battle, the two fight for dominance. Hoping to evade deaths seductive call. While death is something everyone faces, we all fear it and grasp onto life.
Staying hopeful while living with the constant fear.

Almost all textures were edited myself and most parts were changed from the original base.
This is all one model, I did not combine two separate ones to create it. Each part is rigged with its own bones as well. The entirety is all one model.

Think of it more as the skeleton part came out from her body, they are one cause that's her skeleton. It's her own fear taking form and emerging from her making her face her fear.
