Thats what I always hope for when first snow comes
because one can get some awesome shots with
coloured leaves and snow on them...
I only found a few left in the forest this time
It snowed lightly a few time also when I was away
so I missed it and frost too 
not as much as you got over there, but with the wind
it was enough to make the rest of the leaves that were left
to fall and this time a heavier enough snowfall but no leaves
and it looks like you got blasted a little more then we did, looked a pretty thick coat

hehehehΒ we got about 9inches totalΒ in two days , a little wind on Sunday but not bad , I can't wait till spring , I had enough winter now

we still have tons, we only had one day at -2C since December
but getting better now, still not melting, I could say we don't get a lot of snow
in one shot, it just gathers slowly all Winter and even if milder this week, still
fluffy flakes coming down almost everyday, nothing has melted away so in the end
we have lots

today is the day we busted our backs trying to get out of our yards , and the plows keep pushing snow all over the place < I just got done blowing snow and with in a hour the plow came again

I live closer too the Lake and we get lake effect snow too we only got 4 inches ,but my Daughter who live 12 minute away and over the hill they got 10.5 inches, most of our trees the leaves are gone , but the red ones are still here, we made national news too

yes she just lives up the hill from me , you can see the different from my house to the hill , it really wierd
