I decided to post this short cartoon i made back in 2003....i was at the university at that time..i didn t have a scanner nor a computer...so i started to animate it without pencil testing...it took me one year to finish it...when i got all the stuff to edit it i was so thrilled cause it was the first time i could see one of my animations being alive on a screen..^__^I'm sorry for the quality...i should re-scan all the drawings but i dont really have time and they're more than 1,500
...maybe i will in the future...i've already 'clean' the scenes with Daphne's bird which you can see in my gallery...The story is about the myth of Apollo and Daphne (a lil' changed in kinda romantic way
) and of course i was influenced by the style of Disney's Hercules...i really hope you all like it and leave your comments
(which i love..).I hope to be able to post a better quality version very soon even though im now focused on my new cartoon
...well about this i had the honour to have the help of a very well known person here on DA

its because apollo wouldnt leave her alone and she knew that god and others end in death, misfortune or hatred.....

Oh it turned out real good considering you didn't even get to do any line/pencil tests! It would look beautiful all refined... but as a fellow animator I could understand the pain of having to go over all those frames!! XD

I loved the part when she turned into a tree. Very well done! The hole sequence reminds me of Disney's Fantasia (especially the part with the centaurs & centaurettes). Beautiful animation you did there

REJECTED! Lol, but seriously though, this is some dang good animation I've stumbled across here. Kind of Hercules-esque, but still really good for something one finds on DA. I just love that cruel ending, too.
