I decided to post this short cartoon i made back in 2003....i was at the university at that time..i didn t have a scanner nor a computer...so i started to animate it without pencil testing...it took me one year to finish it...when i got all the stuff to edit it i was so thrilled cause it was the first time i could see one of my animations being alive on a screen..^__^I'm sorry for the quality...i should re-scan all the drawings but i dont really have time and they're more than 1,500
...maybe i will in the future...i've already 'clean' the scenes with Daphne's bird which you can see in my gallery...The story is about the myth of Apollo and Daphne (a lil' changed in kinda romantic way
) and of course i was influenced by the style of Disney's Hercules...i really hope you all like it and leave your comments
(which i love..).I hope to be able to post a better quality version very soon even though im now focused on my new cartoon
...well about this i had the honour to have the help of a very well known person here on DA

Hey, I love all your animations, and I was wondering something about how you put them together. I have an animation project in mind but I just don't know an easy way to put a pencil drawn character on a background transparently like you do. Could you tell me what you do to get a nice layering effect of characters on backgrounds?

well there's a program out there called ctp (cartoon television program)..it allows you to do this

That is truly an amazing work. I doubt many people would have had the amount of perserverience nessecary to compleat that.
The Story of Appollo and Daphne is one of my favoutites of all the greek myths, although sad as most of them are.

Wow that is amazing!!. I always liked the paper style animation better with out computers. Artists put more in it with their hands i think then letting a comp do all the detailed work
