I decided to post this short cartoon i made back in 2003....i was at the university at that time..i didn t have a scanner nor a computer...so i started to animate it without pencil testing...it took me one year to finish it...when i got all the stuff to edit it i was so thrilled cause it was the first time i could see one of my animations being alive on a screen..^__^I'm sorry for the quality...i should re-scan all the drawings but i dont really have time and they're more than 1,500
...maybe i will in the future...i've already 'clean' the scenes with Daphne's bird which you can see in my gallery...The story is about the myth of Apollo and Daphne (a lil' changed in kinda romantic way
) and of course i was influenced by the style of Disney's Hercules...i really hope you all like it and leave your comments
(which i love..).I hope to be able to post a better quality version very soon even though im now focused on my new cartoon
...well about this i had the honour to have the help of a very well known person here on DA

WOW, this had to be a year to make (2003 jan 1.-2003 dec 30 midnight full time).
Cannot say less than congratulations. First movie I've ever seen on DeviantArt but will not see better in the next 10 ten years, that is what I can predict. Unless, of course, if you make another

thank you very much...well i did it while during preparing my thesys for university...it took basically 6 months not full time..im glad you like it but its full of mistakes and bad things...anyway ill soon do another cartoon and hope you will like it as well

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! I don't know when I first saw this, but I thought about it the other day. I remember thinking, "Okay, I saw a really awesome pencil animation one time, but I don't know who it was by..." And then I was peeking through your animations in your gallery and though, "Wait a second... OMG THIS IS IT!!!"
Anyways, I ADORE this animation! It's spectacular, and the story is well represented! You're a brilliant animator!

this is absolutely amazing, I can see the hercules style but it is so nicely done. I guess he should learn not to follow odd birds in the forest and be careful when approaching pretty tree water nymphs. His sad expressions are nice.

Ma le animazioni che realizzi sono piΓΉ che stupende!! Bello il mito di Apollo e Dafne, soprattutto si vede l'influenza di Hercules nel tratto dei tuoi disegni... Molto piacevole!
Ma chi ti ha insegnato a fare cose magnifiche come queste? Sono da sempre stata affascinata dal 2D... PerΓ² non sapevo che si potesse riuscire a realizzare una cosa del genere amatorialmente! Hai forse seguito qualche corso particolare? Cosa serve di base per realizzare qualcosa di simile? Grazie anche solo per l'attenzione, ciao e ancora complimenti!

guarda uno utilissimo si chiama ' the animator's survival kit'...dal regista di chi ha incastrato roger rabbit!!!!E' fatto benissimo e ti spiega un sacco di cose!!!!E' in inglese e lo trovi a poco prezzo su Amazon.com!!
