Description
I decided to post this short cartoon i made back in 2003....i was at the university at that time..i didn t have a scanner nor a computer...so i started to animate it without pencil testing...it took me one year to finish it...when i got all the stuff to edit it i was so thrilled cause it was the first time i could see one of my animations being alive on a screen..^__^I'm sorry for the quality...i should re-scan all the drawings but i dont really have time and they're more than 1,500
...maybe i will in the future...i've already 'clean' the scenes with Daphne's bird which you can see in my gallery...The story is about the myth of Apollo and Daphne (a lil' changed in kinda romantic way
) and of course i was influenced by the style of Disney's Hercules...i really hope you all like it and leave your comments
(which i love..).I hope to be able to post a better quality version very soon even though im now focused on my new cartoon
...well about this i had the honour to have the help of a very well known person here on DA

Gorgeous, i love it so much!!! like wow, i get impatience in my class just to draw 24 frames er second, you must of had so much patience!! and it must of took to long, but i was worthit thats for sure

Una curiositΓ , ma i frame per le animazioni li fai direttamente in flash oppure li disegni prima su foglio e poi dopo usi flash?

grazie...tutti i frame sono fatti su carta a mano...poi per montarli uso ctp..e solo dopo per postarli qui su deviant li trasformo in filmato flash!

Wow, that's very cool. Great job. Only thing is that in the original story Apollo chases Daphne because he's in love with her, and eventually reaches Daphne and then she asks her father(Peneius) if he could "free her from the body that made her to beautyful", and then she transformed into a tree.
But hey, you made your own version and it's cool

Reminds me of those Disney Animation Studios test animations they use to show before/after their movies. This is brilliant, especially the facial expressions of Apollo and his angst after Daphne turns into a tree. The tree transformation was amazing as well.

Lol, i was listen to this norwegian artist called Gaute OrmΓ₯sen and hes song Min sang til deg Means: My song to you. And it kinda fits to this while i watched it
